Nope!

This thread is kind of like a Infamous ps4 general discussion thread. It's just that there are some limits on what you can talk about, etc.

I would love for you to posts some comments and try kicking this thread series into high gear. Eventually, the idea is to get people to start playing games they wouldn't have played on their own.

You would be also very helpful given your "platinum status". Week 4 I intend to get both platinums as well, so I'll definitely ask for your help.

Sweet. I'll be glad to take part. Anyone have questions, ask away.

Sure. I'll ask the most important one right at the start. How many playthroughs does it take to get platinum?

2 i believe.  i forget if hard mode is unlocked with the first play though or not but i know you have to play the game once good and again evil as i remember it.

For Second Son, just two. One good, one evil (make sure you play at least one on hard), and then clean up any missing trophies during the post story free roam.

First Light, just one playthrough with trophy clean up in post story free roam.

cool. i'll start tonight maybe.

leading comment. i loved infamous my first play though overall but i just need to get this out of the way. the tagging things with spray paint was really neat the first time, kind of okay the second time, a fucking chore by the end of the game.

anyways, looking forward to finally replaying/plat'ing infamous. it's been too long since my first play though.

I liked those parts unless had a cat on my lap who got annoyed by me turning the controller and shaking it like a spray can.

I have a question for folks.

When you play the first time through do you go "Good" or "Evil"?

I always do good first and evil second, feel less guilty that way.

I usually straddle the line based on my own feelings toward the situation. However, I'm pretty sure infamous was always a little less convoluted though, so I first went good when I p[layed the original. THe alternatives were like, crazy bad guy stuff.

I've already got the plat. trophies for both games. Second son will take 25 hours and First light between 10 and 15 hours to get the plat. trophy. I enjoyed both games and the "Hard" difficulty was pretty easy for me on Second Son.

I always do the "Good" playthrough when I play an Infamous game for the first time (and any game that have a similar karma system).  I just think is the "correct" way to play a game.

Likewise, and also because it generally provides a better experience. A lot of games that give you moral choices seem to put most of their effort into the good storyline, while the evil storyline is an afterthought that only exists so they can say, "OMG U HAS CHOICES!"

In the game though did find evil bit cathartic to not worry about collateral damage.  "Take that guy with an acoustic guitar!"
