I think right now Sony have to be the favourites. Everything is going well for them and a lot of their first party studios haven't done much so far this gen so they could have some nice surprises. But who knows, anything could happen yet, which is why it will be so exciting

Usually its the ones who are behind (MS and Nintendo) who have the strongest showing, because they have to show most or all of their cards to try and get some hype surrounding their consoles.

Current Game Machines: 3DS, Wii U, PC.

Currently Playing: X-Com(PC), Smash Bros(WiiU), Banner Saga(PC), Guild Wars 2(PC), Project X Zone(3DS), Luigis Mansion 2(3DS), DayZ(PC)

Microsoft by a landslide if they show all their BIG BUDGET games.

Nobody is going to win this by a landslide and even if, it certainly wouldn't be MS, they probably have the least games in development.

With Horizon, GOW4 and the new Level 5 exclusive almost certainly set to be revealed at E3, Sony.

Opinions, we all have them. Least games in development, hmmmmm I disagree. Stop letting indies cloud your judgment.

Nintendo seems to always be the favorite on VGChartz as they can do a single announcement (Metroid) and will "cancel" out even a dozen announcements from Sony or Microsoft.

Not sure if "winning" E3 will translate to anything though as VGChartz or even internet fandom does not equal general gaming populace.

I'm not talking about indies here.

I fully expect Microsoft to announce a big, exclusive 3rd party title in the line of say, Mass Effect or Fallout or something similar.

Which will probably give them the win.

Is that a joke?

Edit: WTF? When I responded to this I could've sworn it said Nintendo instead of MS, I must be getting crazy.

Every year people say this stuff, last year people was saying this too.

Well they did announce Tomb Raider last year, though that's only a timed exclusive.

I remember that. MS was going to moneyhat Resident Evil 7, DMC5, Fallout 4, TES, Dragon's Dogma 2, etc. Something to do with Spencer being a messiah or something.

Which "winning" are we talking about, though? For instance, Nintendo could show a new Metroid and people on the forums and in the audience would go bananas but it would barely move the 'system-seller' needle. Meanwhile, Microsoft could score CoD exclusive DLC and it would have more real-world impact. Forum-goers are often quick to throw out the "won E3" tag without really considering the actual consequences of what was shown.

Anyway, I'm going to pick Microsoft, same as I did last year. E3 is really big for them, I think, considering how the US market is so pivotal to their success. I don't know if anything from Gears will be ready, however, as they really haven't been working on it for very long. I do expect more third-party "exclusives", though, and maybe some true surprises from their new first party studios. Halo 5 will have a massive presence.

We're going to have to go through this again this year at E3, I know, but Sony's strategy has been to raise the value of other venues around the world, which makes sense considering the PS4's global success. They'll have another strong showing, simply because they have so many studios and partnerships, but they won't show their full hand.

Nintendo has Zelda but, with SSB and MK8 released, the only other bomb they can probably drop is another big Mario title, which would surprise me. Hard to imagine them winning with anyone but their own fans. A Wii U Pokemon title might do the trick.

And Sony was way too poor to finance anything, yada yada yada. I remember at the beginning of last year when those firing in some of the Sony studios happened and some other people left Studios on their own accord, when suddenly everyone became "worried" about what was going on at Sony, while other people were certain that the talented people were just leaving the sinking ship that is Sony.
