Interesting! So the eshop hasn't never been down before? I can certainly believe that since I never recalled having any "down" issues for eshop, thats for sure although I would like to know how they track it and whether or not its based on a certain threshold of downtime or is it just, as soon as they are down, it logs it or something. And if it is based on time, long how is that time

It's based on people reporting the issues to the website. And the eShop has been down before.

This is interesting! But the "Nintendo eShop" listing has no legitimacy. First, that's just the store, not the network. Second, as this is based on mass user reports, a service with relatively few regular users (especially in the UK) is not likely to get reports. eShop and Nintendo Network have in fact been down, despite nobody (yet) caring to DDoS them due to small userbase.

I have never had any problems Nintendo network what so ever in my life and that seems to be the case for most people.

But as per usual on this site, if something is good with Nintendo - there must be a catch. Right. Right?

Jeez.

Are you saying Nintendo's network never had any issue?

Did you see me write that?

Nope.

I said I have never had issues with it and that it seems to be the case with most users.

Kind of easy for Eshop and Nintendo Network to have few issues when far less people use it than the other services.
