So after really wanting a Wii U I finally got one! While I'm also interested in the PS4, games coming for it, that I want, are also coming to PS3. So yeah! Had it for 24hrs and here are my thoughts:

-The Gamepad is... alright. It's really cool to use it to play games, and does make things easier, but the screen is decent. Idk its a weird transition from PSVita/Smartphone-like touch screens to a giant DS touch screen. I'm not sure I like it.

I'm in love with the ZR/ZL buttons XD I dont have any games that use it but I still click them because... theyre awesome v.v Im not a fan of the ABXY buttons though. They feel too far apart, very different from the DS layout. 

Battery life is better than I expected!

One of my biggest complaints with it is that its glossy... why does Nintendo seemingly have some sort of gloss fetish? 

I actually dont have too much to say XD debating on whether to get Smash or MK8 first though

Either is a great choice. Smash is a more addicting and longer game though. Mario Kart is great too but I currently play Smash more.

It sounds kinda weird to say, but congrats! Hope you have a lot of fun with the system. Either one of those 2 choices is a great one. Yeah, the gamepad has its ups and downs. I just hope it gets a lot of good and creative uses in its life. If you get Smash, you can def play with some people here on the forums : )

lol. Yeah, I was up at midnight last night, hoping it would be up already. I've had the date circled for awhile now. The weirdest thing is, for some reason, it's a 7GB file. I really didn't expect that considering the first two were on Gamecube and those discs could only hold, what... 1.5GB at most? I doubt the first game maxed that out so I don't know where all that size is coming from. 

Never the less, I'm in MP heaven right now!

The gamepad is surprisingly comfortable and light for its size, bunch of great 1st partygames and backwardcompatible.

I also don't like the glossy finish. I have to wipe my finger prints off the gamepad after every gaming session but then again, its just a minor complaint especially after playing Bayo2.
