Over at a buddies right now and him and his roommate recently picked up a WiiU. We wanted to know what digital titles are must buy for people who are new to the system? He's really into RPGs with puzzle games, generally likes the main first party titles and has gamed with a variety of brands. I would say Shovel Knight but instead, I will say Shantae and pirate's curse cause its a pretty great indie game that doesn't get enough love imo. Its funny, its silly but its also a great action platformer

i too would say shovel knight, but also mighty switch force, guacamelee, bit.trip runner 2, pushmo world, nes remix 1+2, the swapper (really good, more mature puzzle game), nano assault neo (a beautiful shoot-em-up), child of light and some other stuff i can't quite remember.

there's a lot of excellent indies on wii u, that's for sure. nintendo seems to be courting them pretty heavily.

Loll, I will say one thing, when I saw that cover art, my mind instantly told me to get that shit! And I was certainly not disappointed!
