Forums - Gaming Discussion - Witcher 3 on consoles = possible casual gameplay according to Gamespot

It is a series that could use some casualization. Well whatever that means. Tried and gave up on first one. The menu's were very unituitive and combat was boring. Apparently 2nd is better as they streamlined some things and 3rd would be even better, thanks to further casualization. So, not really a negative. Thanks super HD console folk for making my pc games easy.

some of the hardest games are on consoles

Thats very true, and im not even talking about Demons Souls or Bloodborne, there is a lot of games (japanese in particular) that can give you quite the challenge, Vanquish for example is CRAZY in high difficulties, and those challenge room, those f#cking chanllenge rooms...

That game is insane on the hardest difficulty. The Witcher was a good change of pace though after playing Assassins Creed and Dragon Age 2.

Whats so casual about the gameplay? The controls were just changed to controller pad layout so it could feel more like a true arpg.

Every game needs to have a difficulty option. That way, the hardcore players can have a challenge, and I can just select Easy and enjoy my immortality.
