What is apparent is that Sony consoles do far better digitally than Nintendo ones, Why is this?
I would of thought the opposite, the younger demographic, Nintendo would be the ones more comfortable with digital.
So why are Sony users buying more digitally?

Bigger hard drives?

The 3 main reasons would be PlayStation has a better online infrastructure, an actual account system, and an older demographic.

Certain series on Nintendo also have older demographics(Monster Hunter) and those games also have higher digital percentages.

Better infrastructures and consuming habits started a longer time ago on Sony consoles.

Aren't some of those nintendo games million sellers? To have Yokai watch reach the same 20% percentage it should like sell 350.000 digital.. I don't think that, that many people who would want it buy it digital.. Maybe in a few years

No. This tracking of digital sales, not overall download numbers. Otherwise, things like PSO2 and other F2P titles would be much higher.

Oh I see! Thanks for the info! So, do they count the PS+ discounted games then or no?

Of course. It's not any different than if a game were on sale. The price is just reduced. That said, none of the above games have any discounts going on. They're all recent releases.
