Nintendo just released an updated release calendar.

http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/pdf/2015/150129e.pdf

Nothing major to see here, although it seems like Mario Maker has been delayed. It's now listed as simply '2015,' whereas in the past I'm pretty sure it has been listed as a 1st half 2015 release.

Edit: Also, for some reason Nintendo didn't list New Super Mario Bros U in their million sellers list. No way to tell if MK8 has surpassed it in sales...oh well

Surprised Yoshi got no love in the last direct if he is still coming in the 1st Half. But we are pretty loaded with games, so I guess we could afford to let Mario Maker fall a bit more late in the year.

Also, everyone who still think Project Giant Robot and Project Guard are only demos, they still have them scheduled under a certain release time.

Mario Maker has been delayed. I just checked a NoA tweet from September with an image of a release calendar. It had Mario Maker as 1st half 2015.

Edit: Here's the tweet

They didn't include NSMBU because it didn't reach 1M this FY. (The game was already at 4.16M LTD shipped as of March 31, 2014 though).

Prediction: End of 2015 Hardware sales (as of January 20, 2015)

Wii U: 12.1M | XBO: 19.8M | PS4: 36.0M | 3DS: 58.5M | PSV: 11.7M

Net profit for this Quarter: 42.215 billion yen = 357,945,628. 65 million dollars = 357 million dollars

Net profit for the first nine months of the fiscal year: 59.5  billion yen = 505,581,020 million dollars = 505 million dollars.

To note, I had done those calculations earlier in the day, and it gave me higher numbers between 506-508 million dollars, so the exact reported profit, would depend on the status of the yen, but the case is that for Q3 it is over 350 million dollars and for the first 9 months of the fiscal year, it is over 500 million dollars.

COMG guide to points: 1 point = Raging. 2 points = Beasting. 3 points = Tearing it up. 4 points = Berzerk. 7 points = Rampage. 12 points = Burst. 15 points = god mode. 20+ points = DIVIDING BY ZERO!!! 40+ points = Youkai (originally Pokemon).

-1 = Negabeasting. -5= NegaRampage. -10 = NegaBurst

Not only that, but the new Fire Emblem game to 3DS is TBD for the west, but it is schedule to release summer 2015 in Japan, so there is a chance the game could still be released this year in the west too.

thats not what it says in the first post of the thread, it says:

full year Net Income: 30¥ billion yen
Q3 Net Income: 45.215¥ billion yen

And you are saying 42 billion for the quarter and 59 for the year where are you taking those numbers from?

The Full Year Guidance thing is their expectations for the Fiscal Year, they expect 550 billion yen in Net sales, they slashed their operating income to 20 billion yen, and up their net incoming forecast to 30 billion yen.

The part of the 42.215 billion yen for the Q3 was a error from my part, since for some reason, I had it remembered as if it was 42, not 45.

And the 59.5 billion yen for the nine months covered by April to December come from here:

"During the nine months ended December 31, 2014, for “Nintendo 3DS,” “New Nintendo 3DS/New Nintendo 3DS XL,” launched as the newest members of the “Nintendo 3DS” family in Japan in October, got off to a good start and continued to sell well. However, as sales of the “Nintendo 3DS” hardware in the United States and in Europe, where “New Nintendo 3DS/New Nintendo 3DS XL” were yet to be launched, did not grow sufficiently, the global sales of the “Nintendo 3DS” family hardware were 7.08 million units. As for the “Nintendo 3DS” software, “Pokémon Omega Ruby/Pokémon Alpha Sapphire” and “Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS” enjoyed robust sales with 9.35 million units and 6.19 million units sold respectively, while titles such as “Tomodachi Life,” “Mario Kart 7” and “Pokémon X/Pokémon Y” showed steady sales. There were also a number of hit titles from third-party publishers in the Japanese market. As a result, the global sales of the “Nintendo 3DS” software were 53.04 million units.

With respect to “Wii U,” Nintendo released two big titles, “Mario Kart 8”and “Super Smash Bros. for Wii U,” which enable family members and friends to have fun together in their living rooms. These titles sold 4.77 million units and 3.39 million units globally, and the global sales of the “Wii U” hardware and software reached 3.03 million and 20.59 million units respectively.

As a result, net sales were 442.9 billion yen (of which overseas sales were 323.2 billion yen or 73.0% of the total sales) and operating income was 31.6 billion yen. As a result of exchange gains totaling 51.0 billion yen due to depreciation of the yen at the end of this period compared with the one at the end of the last fiscal year, ordinary income was 92.3 billion yen and net income was 59.5 billion yen."

I understand, but then, why the thread title says they earned 250 million dollars (30 billion yen).
