Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Rumor: New 3DS to stream Wii U games!

THEY ARE COPING SONY AND...

but seriously, it would be a cool feature and it would make sense at this point. People with the old 3DS might feel a bit left out though.

I mean, that's neat and all, but if you have a Wii U you already have a GamePad, so... so... why?

Sort of sounds like the PS4 Vita situation. My question is if the new 3DS could stream Wii U games from anywhere outside of your house with an internet connection. If it could, that would be cool, if it runs smoothly. If it only works within your house, then that seems kind of pointless. Regardless, that sounds cool for the New 3DS.

As someone sticking with the old one for now, I don`t feel that bad about it.  It`d be nice to have, but I can live without it.

Should be the other way around I would kill to play 3ds games on a tv.

While this would be awesome, I doubt it'll happen. But if it's true, I'n gonna buy a New 3DS.

...You lose the bottom screen when you play on the gamepad. I thought that was obvious.

Finally, I can throw out my Wii U pad :^)

Highly doubt it cause that could kinda ruin the point of the gamepad. And doesn't the n3ds just have a better version of wireless G? I mean, even wireless N has issues when you do game streaming so either this will look worse Sonic's legs or it will be a slideshow if they are using wifi. If they are not, then they would need the wiiU's proprietary wireless streaming thing which would increase the cost of the n3ds and considering the price is $200, they are certainly not using that. So no imo
