I really couldnt get into Canvas Curse back in the day, so sadly I am not interested in this game.

Will pick it up eventually though.

hyped. i'm a big kirby fan, for one. and dat stop-motion claymation art style...! kirby's at his best when the formula is shaken up (think epic yarn vs. triple deluxe, super star vs. kirby 64...). canvas curse is possibly the best kirby game after adventure and super star, and this is based on canvas curse so...

It's a 4 hour long game, why would you be hyped for it?

I'm really of two minds when thinking about this game. On the one hand, it's Kirby and I love Kirby games, so for that reason alone I'll definitely be getting this game. On the other hand, however, I was never really able to fully embrace the gameplay mechanics of Canvas Curse. I just never felt like I was in control of Kirby and found that to be very frustrating. I'm hoping I don't feel similarly about Rainbow Curse, but I feel like I will unfortunately.

I think the claymation art style is great, though! I hope Nintendo revisits this art style for other games!

no, the game is evil, anita told me its sexist.

Canvas Curse was really one of the first great games on the DS system. Unique and engaging controls, great art style, and loads of content.

Rainbow Curse looks to continue the trend, with a gorgeous claymation art style and added multiplayer goodness. Can't wait. ^_^

forgot to say this--but it's also one of the first games in some time to incorporate assymetric multiplayer... and it looks to be one of the best implementations of the idea, with the waddle dee players looking at the tv screen and the kirby player drawing a path on the gamepad. in this sense it's a quintessential wii u game in the same way canvas curse was for the ds.

I want to see this in a 3D game, in a different franchise.

How do you know that? I think is more like Captain Toad, maybe 6 - 7 hours to finnish it and around 12h to 100%, maybe more, plus multiplayer.
