I think Wii U will. Like you said, Mario Maker should be big enough there, Mario party seems to get the attention of Germans and Zelda will help a lot too (alongside with many niche exclusives). Overall, I believe 2015 will be the Wii U's peak year.

dang if nintendo did a decently priced mario party 10 bundle in EU

could give germany and france a big boost(similar to mk8)

mario maker could be the biggest system seller they could have this gen(incoming "mk8 and smash wii u are bigger!")

minecraft is popular in germany 

mario maker is like minecraft except 2d(similar to terraria which does very well there)

germans love mario so that boosts it more

they better give that game proper advertising and a bundle to do well this year

You're right. If they market Mario Maker well enough and make a bundle it could be big. I hope they treat this game the right way, cause I can see it becoming pretty big even globally (if they play the cards right).

If the PS4 continues to dominate the Xbone in Germany, and if Halo 5 fumbles, I'd guess Wii U.
If Microsoft is more aggressiv with their marketing and price, and Windows 10 makes it very benificial to have a Xbone, I'll guess the Xbone will sell more.

I think X1 will. Germany loves Zelda but it just isn't enough to outbalance the green guy on the other console. And while I know of a few people who own or want an Xbox I'm not sure all of the gamers even know that the Wii U exists.

So I'm voting for option 3. Xbox due to its exclusives. Nobody here will buy X1 for 3rd parties. That's what a PC is for.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

I am going with Xbox One. With the support of exclusives,price cuts, and third party support I could see it outselling the WiiU in 2015 but by a small margin.
