Forums - Gaming Discussion - resident evil remaster holds up really well.

I got the resident evil remaster for $17.99. that's what I used my %10 thing on. At first my thought was; I don't remember the orginal playstation version of resident evil looking this good, then I remembered they had a gamecube version, that I never played. lol   The graphics are obviously outdated, but I was still surprised how good this version looks. don't regret my purchase at all. I only played the old playstation version a few times, when it first came out. I highly recomend this game for people that loved the first one. Now,if they only remastered resident evil zero,my life would be complete. Resident evil zero is the only main resident evil game that I have never played. thoughts?

I'm in love with the Resident Evil REmake Remaster right now. Everything looks lovely, and the game is every ounce as awesome as the original Gamecube version, which was an already masterpiece topping the original Resident Evil.

If it ever drops to like $5, i might get it and check it out to see how it compares to the GC version

Indeed it holds well. I also used my 10% discount code on it and so far i'm enjoying the hell out of it.

Btw anyone knows if the trophy list for the ps4 and ps3 version is together or separate?

I wish it was physical...I may end up just getting the GC version instead so I can actually have a disc

I love it. Love the new voice acting as well. No cheese this time. But darn it's hard lol

You can always import the Biohazard physical version on Japan; if I am not mistaken, it includes both english audio and subtitles.

I usually prefer the physical copy of everything, but if I want the game bad enough,I'll make an exception. I also get mostly the smaller games on digital, but I can see were your coming from,as I'm oldschool in that regard. lol

There is absolutely no cheese? How disgusting, that doesn't sound like a proper RE game. I'm giving this remaster a thumbs down.

I remembered playing it on gamecube in 2002 and was really impressed with the graphics, in fact, it was my first gamecube game. I haven't played the remaster version yet but I'm really curious what will be my impression for it. Also, based on the success on this remaster, I'm sure we will see RE:0 remastered as well, it makes more sense than the rumor RE2.  Just to think that I almost buy the wii version but now I'm buying the ps4 version for the trophies since it requiered to beat the game in so many ways.
