So where does holo lens stand on the scale between tech demo and product.
I thought Illumiroom became room alive, and it seems hololens is the continuation of that without the need for multiple projectors.

I'm not surprised. When I first saw it my immediate thought was this doesn’t look commercially viable in the near-term future, but will probably release in some shape or form in a few years’ time.

When is xenoverses realease date.

The current release  dates according to Wikipedia:

Console( PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One,)

 JP February 5, 2015

NA February 24, 2015

 EU February 27, 2015

Microsoft Windows (steam)

WW February 27, 2015

If I remember correctly it has been delayed a week in western territories.

Isn't Hololens the natural evolution of Illumiroom? It should be able to do all the things Illumiroom does and much, much more.

this wil be a product.  the question is, will it be commercial or consumer?

I see it as illumiroom on your head. its a natural progression of it.  I'd say we will see this in consumers hands eventually.

I'm not really here!

I think they are serious about holo lens. It used to be called Fortaleza glasses and they've been planning it for many years. Hopefully the actual glasses aren't too expensive though.

you dont want people to discuss and show potential tech ideas?  how odd.

why not?

I might get salty if I like it and it gets canceled

About 90% of MS R&D never goes to market... If it did you'd have products coming out every week.. Just keep an eye Microsoft research they have enough stuff going for the next half century... I don't think most people especially the one dissing MS all the time realize how much research they do... It makes most other tech company look like amateurs
