What do you guys think? Willl WoW ever go to free to play or will it become a one time buy or will it just stay a subscribtion forever?

It'll stay subscription based as long as it remains popular. It's subscriber count is still insane and it'd have to be a quarter of what it is currently before it'd go f2p imo.

There is really no reason for them to turn it F2P while they can still pull 7 to 10 Million subscribers.

At most, within the next couple of expansions, you could probably expect Vanilla to go F2P but no further content than that.

I like the vanilla idea.. Or maybe they could raise the free time from up to level 20 to level 30 or something like that.

I never could play the game long enough to even get to level 20 without getting bored... So it basically is free to play for me

Basically will only go f2p if they somehow messed up so badly that they drop to 500k-1m very rapidly.

They will maybe release a new WC or WoW and WoW would still be sub as long as it is above 1m subs imo.

Tell you the true the amount of content the game has is MORE than worth the money monthly. You can be on WoW the whole month and not want to play anything else. There is at times TOO MUCH to do in WoW.
