Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Mario Maker - what can we expect ?

I really really liked, what i saw in Nintendo Trehouse.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TO2jzr351jc

Online sharing and some kind of miiverse is pretty much confirmed.

But can there be more

  • Underworlds ?
  • Overworlds ?
  • Boss stage ?
  • Boss fight ?
  • Pipe teleport ?
  • More bagrounds ?
  • Custom "time to complete" ?
  • World 1-4 share ?
  • More tools ?
  • 3. mode ?
  • More enemy's ?
  • Some kind of reward system like tipping stars ?
  • Free game bonus system for most shared/played ?
  • Free game bonus system for higest score/fast in most shared/played ?
  • Ammibo integration ?

I think most of them could happen..  But i'm also a very optimistic man.. What do you think.. can any of this be included ?

Edit: I had not seen that video.. but i shows alot more.. Wow

Have a look at the Mario Maker Game Awards Trailer, it clarifies quite a few points:

Most of those things have to be there.

Yeah my expectations for this game are really high since there's plenty of free "Mario Maker" games you can download from online. There is even a classic Super Mario Bros maker that lets you create entire worlds and it has a portal gun mod. So expecting a variety of level themes isn't unreasonable.

I do like some of the customization Mario Maker has so far like vertical levels, stackable enemies, super size enemies, and enemies popping out of item boxes or bullet cannons.

Super size enimies I havent seen my self.. nice.

I think they will have levels made as well probably about a hundred, probably unlockable stickers, it would be cool if they had all the bosses from Mario in it, I think they will have a few surprises as well, oh and i think maybe a few different playable characters, like luigi

old skool

All the bosses is a nice iddea.. and make sence.. I also belive in luigi..
And could see other "playable characters" as an amiibo function

Penis stages! Breast stages! Other Nsfw stages!

I am expecting some sort of a single player though if it is a $40 title. If its priced lower, than maybe not

It's Nintendo so I don't think i'm going to be disappointed. There's no definite release date yet and i'm sure they have a lot more to show.

My expectation? That almost everyone is going to be disappointed with it. I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but my money's on it being a very simple level-creation tool that acts more like a toy. Just stand-alone levels with no bosses or overworlds or other frills, and based on everything we've seen they'll be very VERY short. Just bite-sized little courses to share with your friends.

Again, I hope I'm wrong, but it's Nintendo we're talking about. If they gave us something more than a mere amusement they couldn't sell us Mario games anymore because we would have all the levels we could ever want at our fingertips.
