I have a few things to say about all this, so here goes... If all of this is true, then I feel sorry for Alex. If this is not true, than this drama could NOT have come at a worse time. Nintendo is FINALLY getting involved with the competitive side of Smash and for this to come out now, does not bode well for Nintendo continuing this in the future.
With that being said, I think a lot of this is... bullshit. Personally, I think that it's entirely possible that the dude hit on some women, BUT WHO CARES! That is none of our business. This is why it matters: http://www.reddit.com/r/smashbros/comments/2t1r1w/its_time_for_me_to_share_my_side_of_the_alex/ Clashtournaments got angry that, due to Nintendos involvement, he was replaced as a main stream for APEX. He got mad and decided to lash out and attack someone publicly because he was hurt. I get why he would be mad, but if you've ever watched any of Clashtournaments streams, hes kind of an egocentric dick. I've watched him be extremely rude, cut people off, even go as far as to be sarcastic and snarky to a co-host who accidently called a forward tilt an up tilt... Then he rolls his eyes and proceedes to interupt his co-host and speak over them until they leave all because he determined that the other person was an idoit.
IF all this is true, then I totally agree that something should have been done about it. Theres no excuse for sexual harassment at all, but that does not mean that the issue should be resolved publicly. We do not know whether or not he cheated on anyone because its not our relationship. We do not know whether he hit on some girl and it made someone mad because it was their girlfriend, and they decided to attack him for it. Theres a big difference between flirting with/hitting on someone and sexual harassment, but a lot of people don't seem to know the difference.
Quite frankly, I hope people just let this die. Aside from it being none of our damn business, focusing on this too much is just plain bad for the Smash community's image.
