It will be interesting to know the most popular franchises amongst vgchartz users and how diverse each persons selection is or it could be that all your top 10 involve shooting someone in the head lol. Personally i found it extremely difficult to wittle my list down to just ten, there wasn't enough room for some of my all time favouries like halo, gta, tomb raider, bioshock, fable, silent hill, tales of, shenmue, starfox, mario kart and smash bros. Any way heres my list.

#10 is really a toss-up. I could have put Assassin's Creed or Tony Hawk (pre-Ride) or Borderlands, basically. I could also put Banjo-Kazooie somewhere in there because I love the first game so much, but I'm not really a fan of Tooie, and Grunty's Revenge and Nuts & Bolts are average.

Is killer 7 a Series? i thought it was just one game, a very good game with one of the best endings ever in a video game.
