I can't believe how fast this thread turned into console warz. Unbelievable.

Well the competition is real.

Maybe I should have mentioned this in the first post? Now that I think about it that was a large influence on me when I made this thread. - Didn't expect to have such hate.

Read the comment section, lol. The warz continue!!!

The collectibles were nice in Xenoblade. I loved to gather those hovering lights.

Xenobalde Chronicles X can keep its design and still look better, more of a technical limitation really I guess.

I'm not going to demand a PS4 game on Wii U, I can't think how a limited studio like Monolith can do something very good-looking like Final Fantasy XV, especially where they are working on. And as for the characters, I gotta agree, it's a design choice.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Oh believe. The hype is real!!!

This? This barely qualifies as a console bicker, let alone warz.

Honestly I felt a LOT of similarities between Xenoblade and FF13 it was scary.

But something FF needs is freedom, been too linear for many, many years now.

Anything but the doll faces.

I'm now filled with determination.

there is no rivalry between final fantasy and xenoblade

final fantasy is a decades old multimillion copies selling franchise whereas xenoblade was a niche game that still has not sold a million copies

also since no one has actually experienced final fantasy 15 outside of a few trailers there is no way to know conclusively what the entire list of features it has entails although personally i'm far more impressed by what i've seen of final fantasy

I think FF can learn alot from Xeno. The way Xeno does open world is extremely well designed. Better designed than Dragon's dogma. You are constantly rewarded for everything you do on Xeno. It doesnt feel like a grind at all. Exploration is a joy.

Somehow, i expect FF to be more like DD, in wich the world is just an annoiyance you have to travel through to get to your destination.

The sales argument is a very weak one. I didn't know you could play sales.
