Hi everyone, this is a work in progress, but I'll try to hash it out here for you.
This thread is being used to host a gaming club series where members of the vgc community will play a game per month and talk about it. We will look at the game releases and decide what to play. We will try to stick with newer games, because otherwise we will have a lot of games that people have already played and that wouldn't be fun.
This can be as organized or loose as the community decides. If you want to participate, you can post about whatever it is we're playing.
These are the rules.
We will come up with "checkpoints". Basically that means you can't go and play ahead. You have to stop each week at a certain point and we can all discuss what we think of the game up to that point. Then you can continue to the next "checkpoint". Of course, some leeway will be allowed because I'm sure people have schedules and whatnot, but the idea is to talk together about the game. Not beat it and then fall off the map.
I will be creating a new thread for each new game, and link here every time a new one is created. That will keep this thread nice and clean and manageable for everyone.
With that said, hopefully people would like to determine which game should be played for the first month.
Feel free to nominate games other than the ones listed.

Most of these games are new or newish. If there is no vote, I'll be doing Grim Fandango when it comes out next week.
