Sony doesnt want PS games on only PS.  And no matter how you slice it i think its kind of rude to outright say what somebody said was moot

https://support.us.playstation.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5338/~/playstation-now-on-bravia-televisions

Id imagine PS Now will come to PC eventually as well.  Ive said it before and ill say it again.  Xbox+PS will be digital platforms eventually through PSN+XBL

exclusives are still good to have though. Just think, if nintendo didnt have their exclusives... there would be no reason to buy a wii u. Just get it on one console or pc you already have.

Given Nintendo hasn't made substantial profits from home console.hardware sales in any generation other than Wii, would that be a bad thing? If they could sell 30 million copies of all their top tier franchises every time, rather than only in a generation where they sell 100 million consoles, that makes Nintendo more profitable and more successful. Handheld is a bit different and there remains compelling reason to buy a handheld device even when there are no exclusives. Even so we are seeing a huge reduction in the handheld market and Nintendo will need to think about what next. If 3DS winds update about 70 million and 4DS head is the direction of 40 million Nintendo may wind up with unsustainably small user bases on both home and handheld console.

A if you approach the gaming biz from the perspective that you're using software as a means for selling hardware you may be playing a mug's game now.

You make yourself pretty obvious sometimes and by your word of context it would mean "your point is irrelevant"

Big difference between me getting a bastardized version of a PS4 game on the Vita vs. playing improved, better performing versions of Xbone games on my PC.

Because we are talking about streaming and then it will be no different than Netflix.

That doesn't make any sense. Sony already has their own streaming service. Microsoft will probably create their own sometime in the future considering they've been taking all their cues from Sony lately. They'll create the same exclusives for their service and create the same deals with 3rd parties as they do now.

So no, not getting any Playstation or Xbox games on Nintendo.

Edited my post a little bit.

You don't get it. Sony's streaming service is meant to bring PlayStation games to devices that aren't PlayStations. PCs, smartphones, tablets, Smart TVs, even Nintendo hardware shouldn't be ruled out.

You may very well be right that Sony and Microsoft will continue to pay for perks in third party games to add value to their services, but all that means is that a Nintendo gamer may choose to subscribe to PlayStation Now instead of Xbox Play (hypothetical name).

Why would they bring a service to a direct competitor?

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

It has two different meanings hence why i said "your words of context"

Legally.  But based on context no.  And from how you worded it i read it as this.  Though you can skate around it.  This discussion has officially become moot....haha see what i did there ;) mwahahaha

Nintendo will cease to be a direct competitor once Sony and Microsoft have stopped to make dedicated gaming hardware.

How do you know they're going to stop making dedicated gaming hardware. OnLive sold game systems for TVs instead of putting the service on consoles. Sony and MS could do the exact same thing.

All this new talk about Windows 10 and XB1/Xbox integration. I think people will be shocked when MS actually starts it. Its MS we are talking about here after all right?

Microsoft tries new ideas and new tech and thats why I prefer them. The Hologram Lens looks amazing.

We sure we talking abt the same company here? Microsoft tries new ideas and new tech? Please enlighten me.

What's the point of this? You just want to argue and we can see right from the start what is your oppinion about Microsoft.
If you fail to see when Microsoft comes out with new ideas (esp. one day after the Windows 10 event), there is just no point of wasting any time enlighting you...

Let me guess, I bet you think HoloLens is a copy of Google glass? :) Or Kinect is a copy of PS Eyes? Or Windows is a copy of the first Macintosh UI? Or Xbox Live (on console) was not a new idea at this time? HDMI-In in the Xbox One is nothing new? The list can goes on for pages... (failures or successes)

You may dislike them, you may not care at all about all of those ideas/techs or even think they are just gimicks but pretending that they do not exists is just plain wrong :)

Every company tries new things though, but most of Microsoft's ideas have not succeeded. What happened to illumni riim? Smartglass? Kinect? The cloud? and All in One? None of those ideas succeeded.Kinect what made by a third party company anyway and MS just bought it,so it was not their idea, eventhough PSEye influenced it.Live of course improved on the idea that Sega already had,but not new and HDMI-In is nothing to give them credit for when i is irrelevant.I mean just naming something because MS did it does not make it great.Seriously.I just want to play good games.Everything else to me besides the controller and hi-tech hardware is irrelevant. The Xbox does not offer that experience to me,no hate, just the facts.

Playstation and Xbox are become services. NOT dependant on a single hardware item.... indeed they are hindered by that restriction.

If people cant or wont understand where this industry is going then its time they woke up.

Exactly. PlayStation and Xbox games on Nintendo hardware are the future, not the other way around. Puts things into perspective.

There will be no nintendo hardware, with in the decade they will go 3rd party as busienss logic dictates they do.  Their games ill end up on PS to release on the biggest gaming service around.
