you beat me to this thread by 1 minute!

congrats on 1 million sold.

Thats unfortunate. It and Sunset Overdrive was my games of the year for 2014. I hope it sells well enough for a sequal

Yeah. It seems so. I hope other developers also reveal their numbers to give up a clear view about game sales.

What?! Only 1m sold?? I thought for sure it would have done better. I need to get this some time

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Publicly announcing numbers is a good sign I would imagine

That is true :) I might buy it again for PC once i get my Nvidia shield.  Really is a fantastic game for anybody curious about it.  Notice that most critics really liked it.  IGN was wrong, dont listen to them -_-

It seems that VGC is greatly overtracking all next-gen software. I choose to ignore all software data from now on, it just makes no sense to trust it.

I'm really looking forward to playing it.  It is on my shelf still wrapped up as I have had other games to finish, but as soon as I do I will be diving in.  The game seems to have gone some way to repairing the Alien name where videogames are concerned, which is also great as I think it may have lost out on some sales due to Colonial Marines being so awful.

So are they announcing one million sold because it's profitable or because it's one of the few games Creative Assembly have made that has reached that number?

Because if the one million copies sold were all at full $60 price (they were not) that's only $60 million revenue take away the retail margin and costs I would be surprised if they made a profit as the license to use the Alien IP only would be several million dollars.
