Not commenting on all the Windows stuff, as I don't use it nor intend to do so in the future. As I said, I was here for the games, and that was terribly disappointing.
After all the hype on the forums about a giant leap for XOne, all we got was Remote Play and an announcement of XBox losing another announced exclusive.
Along with long overdue cross-platform play, very underwhelming.

If the Lumias app selection and unified hub wasn't years behind the competition I would definitely invest in it. The camera on the back is worth the price.

Well maybe it won't be so far behind for much longer...

I hope so. I feel really, really bad for Sony because they one of the best cellphones on the market and it uses google play at the center of its experience. Microsoft needs to just give it up and allow Google play to replace Zune. They aren't Apple. They've been trying so long to be, but I think they need to bite the bullet and put kill off the Xbox hub on their phones and replace it with Play. Play and Apples hub are the most used and no one is knocking them off for years to come. This is coming from a huge guy who loved the Zune and it sucked when the Zune was discontinued.

Disappointing.

I wouldn't mind streaming my PC to my Xbox One, but the reverse seems pointless.
Wired already had hands on with Hologram and said it was not ready, nothing like the fake demonstration.
The new Internet Explorer looks like chrome. This isn't a bad thing in itself.
Fable Legends for PC: Cross-Play (I would rather have a real Fable)
Windows 7, and 8 users get free upgrades. (That's nice)
Cortana sounds like a privacy nightmare. (Its creepy)
AR hinted at Xbox One but nothing official.

Did I miss anything

Just read the Wired article. That was from a visit back in October, so things could have changed a good deal since then.   Also the article is very positive.

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

We have 4 devices with Win 7/8 at home that will be upgraded to Win 10.

And it became a little more probable to choose Win 10 for the next mobile device instead of Android.

This was a Windows 10 event not an Xbox One event.  The key is that Xbox One will be running Windows 10 (likely by the end of the year) and application developers can run the same apps developed for Windows 10 on an Xbox One.  Sure not all apps make sense, but that is for app developers to decide.

So wait...what was the big thing at the end? That was...a little lame...

Well holograms were quite near the end. So I'm gonna guess that.

Overall good, lots of interesting stuff announced. But it could easily have been half an hour shorter.

oooh...neat...

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Microsoft truly is the most exciting company of all time. And in my opinion, the most innovative. Great event! And extremely excited to get Windows 10 for free!

What was innovative about it?

I can't believe you come up with PS Move when discussing Hololens.
Never change VGC, never change.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
