I don't think so. BL2 is an old game and the prequel didn't sell that well.

It's tracking the same as Dark Souls II, which opened with 250k FW...so it's possible.

OT: I doubt it. Bloodborne should on top, firts week and lifetime.

I don't think BB will sell over 2M but I think it will sell enough to outsell BLR

Which may actually help it. It probably didn't sell well because it was last gen only (I know I was waiting for the inevitable current gen port). Now that it is finally coming to current gen those that held off before may get it.

True but the game also had no hype at all.

BB should sell 1.5-2 million. I would expect a borderlands re release to do about as good. I say it goes either way.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

It's not impossible, Bloodborne has been doing (even though I hate using that for Japan) very well on Amazon.jp for example, place 54 on the 2014 best seller list (32 in 2015) and as has been said it is tracking ahead of Dark Souls 2 on COMG as well.

Also the "brand new" IP excuse really doesn't work here, people know what the game is about, they know that it's essentially a Souls game.

I think this could go either way, BL is a better value and is an established franchise, but there has been pretty much nothing negative said about BB yet and I don't know if people really care about BL anymore.
