SM3DW is a 3d Mario game, does not count for you. And I´m tired of reading people with no interest at all on any of the Nintendo consoles complaining about things that doesn´t matter to them just to create a hate halo around Nintendo, i thought VGA forums was more than this...

I told you I was interested in a new 3DS. I rarely ever speak out against Nintendo. I'm not a Nintendo hater. I owned a Wii, Gamecube, and Super Nintendo myself.

I dont´t believe you when you are making a thread about how big is Nintendo greed becasuse they hadn´t release a 3d Mario (they have done it, and has a wonderfull 93 on metacritic, a ***** 93!!!)  and because the New 3ds has no charger when you can find one for 10 bucks, i already have 3 chargers, so I don´t need this, and i´m glad that Nintendo don make me pay for it too, and this happens with mobile devices all the time, and on Europe is pretty normal buy the console without charger, so is nothing new, but some people always need a little detail to turn everything into Nintendo hate.

You don't understand what I mean. I mean a true sequel to the mainline Mario games: Super Mario 1, 2, 3, Super Mario world, Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2. True sequels that push the envelope for each new system. 3D World is more like a side game like Paper Mario. I'm talking Super Mario Universe here. And, once again, I'm not a Nintendo hater and have owned Nintendo systems.

Well I do agree that not including the AC adapter is stupid, I don't think its thattttt big of a deal because Nintendo is not missleading anyone. It says on the box that there is no AC adapter included and AC adapters are fairly cheap. Its kind of like how a Vita doesn't come with a memory card which makes the handheld pretty useless cause you can't save your progress in most of the games you play but since it says on the box that you need a memory card, its not thatttt bad. Although, the prices on those memory cards comparatively is terrible since you can get a charger for < $10 vs 4gb vita memory card that costed $20 during launch and it was the lowest one you could get.

The reasons I don't feel Vita's memory cards are as big of a deal--though still an issue--are that some games have built in saves, and newer Vita's have built in memory for saves. It is not always mandatory to have a memory card for Vita, but is is mandatory to have a charger! Not yelling at you, just angry with Nintendo.

Also, some parents will not read it unfortunately.

Well, from what I heard, the games that do have built-in saves are the minority while the games that don't are the majority. Heck, even Sony's games don't have built-in saves and they are one of the main reasons to buy the handheld. And of course, considering the lowest memory card costs more than the 3ds charger so buying the charger is just a minor annoyance since it will work where as even if you buy the 4gb memory card, you always have to deal with "deleting and redownloading" the games forever until you upgrade which again, costs more money and considering how digital heavy the vita is, it reallyyyy is a bigger issue imo

And honestly, I have defended consumer's rights and how terrible the publisher's are for quite a while cause many publishers misslead consumers and they force the consumer to do some research if they actually want to know whats going on but come on, its written in the front of the box in red... Like, if they do not read that, they really need to improve their buying habbits.

With that being said, I highly agree its a dumb move from Nintendo and if there is a way to change it, I would 110% participate in it

3D World is a side game like Paper Mario, not Super Mario Galaxy 3 or Super Mario Universe. Each new system gets mainline Mario games that push the envelope like Super Mario World, Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy. See what I mean? There is no game like this for Wii U.

I already have, but this needs continued attention until Nintendo changes this awful decision.

First, I am an Xbox hater, not a Nintendo hater. I have owned a Super Nintendo, Gamecube, Gameboy Advance, old Model DS, and even a Wii for a short time. I just see these things as wrong.

Nintendo has no plans to include an ac adapter for their new 3DS. Nintendo's pathetic excuse is that people with a current 3DS or DSI will already have an adapter. Two problems with that. 1: Many will want to trade in their old 3DS toward the new one, and that will include the adapter. Therefore, you will have to buy another adapter. 2: SOME OF US, LIKE MYSELF, HAVE NEVER OWNED A 3DS OR DSI! I have no power cord lying around. So we are expected to buy a useless system with no way to charge it and buy a separate adapter?! Ridiculous. Greedy! Many parents that don't read these sites will have a crying child when he/she tries to play the system and can't. I was interested in a New 3DS for Xenoblade, but I may just skip it now. It's not the cost, but the principle. Other parts of the world have been getting screwed like this already, but now it is coming to the US. The other parts of the world should not have accepted this, and now the US--probably their biggest market--must speak against this.

Also, though not a Mario fan, I have read that Nintendo will make no more mainline Mario games for Wii U. That is wrong. They put out a 2D Mario game, but where is Super Mario Galaxy 3 or Super Mario Universe? A proper 3D sequel is what Wii U owners deserve. Mario 3D world does not count. Does this not anger Wii U owners?

Dude, just buy a power adapter and quit your hateful attitude.

Current Game Machines: 3DS, Wii U, PC.

Currently Playing: X-Com(PC), Smash Bros(WiiU), Banner Saga(PC), Guild Wars 2(PC), Project X Zone(3DS), Luigis Mansion 2(3DS), DayZ(PC)

I just wanted to let you know that the story about no new mainline Mario titles releasing on Wii U was the result of a misinterpretation. Here is the full quote:

"Since we first created Mario, people have compared him to Mickey Mouse. I’ve always said Mickey Mouse evolved with each evolution in animation. You saw Mickey Mouse each step of the way. From early on, I wanted Mario to be that character in the digital world, so that with each digital evolution, he was there to usher in the next era. I think that maybe when we release the next hardware system, you can look forward to seeing Mario take on a new role or in a new game."

Not likely, those systems would already be boxed and ready to ship. No way they are going to recall the shipments, source the chargers, redesign the box to fit the chargers and rebox several million systems, all which would result in a delay in the system's release. Especially when the Americas is the only area left that's been getting chargers included.

Not really. It's one of the most critically acclaimed games of the generation, simple as that. Wasting time trying to pigeon hole it rather than playing it in it's entirety is just wasted effort. Quality-wise I find it very hard to separate from the Galaxy games (and I'm a huge fan), particularly in the latter levels.

I actually prefer that the game is more firmly rooted in the Mushroom Kingdom than the Galaxy games, yet it doesn't lack for creativity. For my mind it makes it feel more like a Mario game.

Hatefull thread!

Ac adapter is not included in the package in order price to be lower possible, because most of New 3DS owners already have Ac adapter and they would needed to pay extra in order to have Ac adapter that they already have. In other hand if you dont have Ac adapter, you can always buy Ac adapter for $10.

Mario 3D World is mainline Mario game and one of best games of generation, and last thing I want from new Mario is Galaxy 3, two Galaxy games are more than enuf. But you can't know that, because you don't play Mario games.

"Mario 3d World does not count"
Uhm, okay.. Then I guess it's too bad that it doesn't count for you, but it's still a 3D Mario title..
