Half Life 3.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

I think one thing Uncharted has going for it is the graphics will get people all wet with excitement. One weight of expectation problem it has is that it will be compared gameplay-wise to 2 predecessors Tomb Raider 2013 and Uncharted 2/3. Already with the extended gameplay people are accusing it of stealing off Tomb Raider 2013, as if drawing inspiration from others is somehow evil. That's how art goes, people get inspired by the work of others. But no, gamers have to try to make other games look bad, because of reasons.

Let me tell you Bloodborne is going set up the bar at a new height for future Souls games, Dark Souls 3 and (a hopefully being made) Bloodborne 2 are going to be measured on Bloodbornes greatness.

I wish. All I know is that Dark Souls is a timeless masterpiece with the best dungeon design I've ever witnessed in a game. It will be extremely difficult for Bloodborne to top that, in my eyes. I loved Dark Souls 2, but it was nowhere as good as DS1.

I've only played Dark Souls 1 and I really liked it, but Bloodbornes setting appeals much more to me as well as that the game is more offensively oriented and faster, so the cards are definitely in Bloodbornes hand to at least for me personally become a game that I'll enjoy more than Dark Souls. Also I'll most likely be going in blind with Bloodborne, with Dark Souls I have to admit that I sometimes peaked into some walkthroughs to get an idea on where to go next, I think that also took away something from the experience.

Im scared for Half Life 3, if it ever gets here.

After all these years of wait it will be THE most hyped game of all time

Touche. Though I find TLOU2 existing to be much more believable than HL3, lol.

I have a bad feeling that Persona 5 is poised to piss off a lot of the people who loved Persona 4. After all this time and all this hype they may be in a no win situation: "It's too different!" "It's too similar!" "Not enough waifus!" "Rabble rabble rabble!"

The Last Guardian if it ever releases. The burden of being compared to Ico and Sotc is heavy.

Half-Life 3, The Last Guardian (if those ever come out) and Arkham Knight, especially after the good-but-not-excellent Origins (which was not by Rocksteady, but still).

But the biggest victim is ANYTHING Naughty Dog makes at this point. Uncharted 4 in particular will suffer from either being "too similar" or "too different" from its predecessors. And critics have never been as annoying/picky as today.

Also, FFXV. Not because of the bar set by the predecessor, but for the exact opposite reason.

Halo 5. 343i is really trying hard but they kinda don't nail it like they think they do.
