Not as in games that look to disappoint, but games that have such an incredibly high bar set for them by their predecessors that there's an almost unfair amount of pressure on them.

For example, in my humble opinion, Uncharted 4 and Xenoblade Chronicles X look to be great games, but they'll still likely have their work cut out for them because of how stellar Uncharted 2 and the first Xenoblade were.

Persona 4 is my favorite game of all time but with Persona 5 i am not expecting it to come close to topping it and i am really trying not get myself hype for it otherwise i would just probably setting myself up for disappointment.

Let me tell you Bloodborne is going set up the bar at a new height for future Souls games, Dark Souls 3 and (a hopefully being made) Bloodborne 2 are going to be measured on Bloodbornes greatness.

Yes, I have very realistic expectations for that game.

A more serious answer would probably be something like Batman Arkham Knight or of course TLOU 2 when it comes.

Edit: Oh yeah Persona 5 of course as well.

Any Pokemon game after Gold/Silver/Crystal. No matter how good they are, they won't sell as well or be loved as much by as many people as the originals.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

I wish. All I know is that Dark Souls is a timeless masterpiece with the best dungeon design I've ever witnessed in a game. It will be extremely difficult for Bloodborne to top that, in my eyes. I loved Dark Souls 2, but it was nowhere as good as DS1.

I can't think of a game more perfect for this than The Last of Us 2.
