Given what he shows in the video, he got flagged by a bot for the music and so he gets no money from it.

But you can fix this by contacting them and getting on their "radar". Multitudes of channels have done this even if the practice is strangely archaic. I'm amazed that he wasn't aware of this given his large~ish status on YouTube.

The bots also parse by name, which is an oddity.

Playing a game and watching someone else play it and comment over it is different. A game is interactive, and you're not interacting with it if you're just watching.

A movie, you can show a picture and talk over it. You can review movie trailers too.
