Am I the only one who thinks Bayonetta 2 looks more like a PlayStation game then a Nintendo game ?... I bet the game would of sell alot more on PS.

Bayonetta 1 would like to have a word with you.

I don't understand. You think Bayonetta 2 has better reached it's audience than Bayonetta on PS3? Or just a comparison of PS3/360 of Bayonetta?

I'm comparing the sales of the original to the sequel. Neither game did gangbusters. Bayonetta is just a niche title to begin with, and no platform will change that. However, I think that whatever it takes for this franchise to survive should happen, despite the sales.

Bayonetta 2's lifetime sales on Wii U will likely be quite close to the individual SKUs of Bayo 1 on 360 and PS3. Considering Wii U will never have anywhere near as big an install base as those consoles, I don't think there's any guarantee Bayo 2 would have sold much better on Playstation or Xbox.

alot of games came out. look for it to have longer legs after peopke stop playing hyrule warriors and smash.

Such a shame, I really hate when legitimately good games go unnoticed!

Not really surprising. I'm glad Nintendo saved the title from death and everything but not sure what they were expecting. Fans were on Xbox and PS.

And yet it didn't sell well there either; Bayo 2 will likely come close to the individual SKUs of Bayo 1 on PS3/360 in lifetime sales, despite an install base about 1/10th the size.

Yikes. Unfortunately its even a bigger flop than expected. Not good but I can't say I'm surprised.

Flop... hopefully not.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

You can't cherrypick the userbase argument. Either it would have made a factor in the sales (also it is insane to believe that multiplatform games don't fracture sales across platforms) or it didn't. If it wouldn't have impacted its sales, then the Wii U to PS3 or Wii U to 360 comparisons are meaningless.

Of userbase impacts sales.
