I have trouble finding a party I like among the many available in Canada, I can't imagine how depressing it must be to be stuck with only two options. From the little I've heard (mostly from the Daily Show mind you so it might not be the most accurate source), it seems American congress has been at a standstill for years now.

I guess it was a combination of Romney's family not wanting to do it, and Romney seeing too many candidates on field who could meet his niche in the party, such as Jeb the other big-money favorite, or two governors of blue states (Romney's other claim to fame)

he just won last time because nobody else wanted to lose against obama. thats why we saw so many retards last time, only they and romney were sure they could beat obama.

I'd like to see Sarah Palin run again. Rand Paul and Marko Rubio are my favorites though, ugh the Democrats make me want to puke.

I remember watching a lot of documentaries where he said he didn't want to do it again. The Netflix one was pretty good. I'm surprised people thought there was a chance that he would run 

I think that the Republicans can present a half decent campaign, but they can't win a Presidential election unless they drop social issues. Just drop it. Even when it comes to things like Cuba. News Flash: NO ONE GIVES A DAMN about an old Cold War feud. No one cares. And it goes against their own fiscal values about government interfering with business. I am convinced that politics are set up in such a way that it is impossible to be on the right 'side'. You can't be the party that want government out of peoples lives, but then want to ban gay marriage. Its just an oxymoron.
