Forums - Gaming Discussion - Which is the most balanced fighting game you've ever played?

Nowadays most people complain about most fighting games being broken and having cheap combos and such, but not every single fighting game can be like that.

Which fighting game you've played was actually fair and depended only on actual skill rather than cheap strategies?

Badgenome got that right.

But also, the Tobal series.

Urban Champion.

Woah! 2 posts, 2 great answers! I would just complete & say Bushido Blade 2 & Tobal nº2.

The first 2 SoulCalibur games are balanced enough too, just take Raphael out of SoulCalibur II...

Best fighting game ever

Waku waku 7

Tobal series is one of the most balanced, but my favourite is the Tekken series, particularly 1, 2, 3 and Dark Resurrection on the PSP.
