Forums - Nintendo Discussion - POTENTIAL MEGATON: Xenoblade Chronicles X to run at 60fps?!?!

The game looks good, really damn good but those character models/faces make be cry a bit. I really doubt it will be 60fps but who knows.

I doubt it.

Is there a way to download 60FPS YouTube videos? My tools can only do 30FPS.
You could go from frame to frame.

The only thing XCX is missing are good character models, mainly faces.

Everything else looks amazing, but those faces.

The character models are great, the faces problem is more due to artstyle but I think their hair is the problematic area.

I wouldn't call them great, but aside from the faces they're perfectly acceptable. Nothing worth praising, but nothing really worth complaining about either. I totally understand the criticism towards the faces though. Regardless to if it's artistic of technical, they look pretty dodgy

Is it just me but at the end where it says 2015 (starting setup), theres like a space between 0 and 1.

Or its just like how digital clocks work - where it has lines like 8888

Edit: NVM, i dont know what im talking about =D

It's an RPG. How much can it possibly matter.

Eh, anything is better running at 60 FPS!

Its anime faces! What do you want?! wrinkled up old realistic men? That may be detailed but its not really nice to look at.

That's a poor excuse...

Games like Dragon Quest VIII and especially Ni No Kuni did the anime style without the characters looking like lifeless dolls...

What game did they say was gonna run in 60 FPS anyway?

the characters bodies are something ps360 could only dream of (especially the more important characters, like elma), so they look great to me.

Am I the only one who likes the face models? My problem is the face animations. They're extremely stiff. The models are fine to me, though.

In an action RPG it definitly does matter. Its not like this game is Final Fantasy 6, youre running around the world and flying mechs! Smooth gameplay should matter above all else.
