Forums - Sony Discussion - Any one else getting Condemned 2: Bloodshot?

I know some people didn't like this first one, but I loved EVERY minute of it. It was definitely the scariest game I have played in my entire life, and I have played all the Silent Hills, the Resident Evils, some of the Fatal Frames, The Sufferings (underrated series), but not Siren.

I really think the new gameplay mechanics are going to be amazing. Interactive scenery to create more gruesome kills, more advanced combat, better forensics puzzles, as well as improvements upon the already frightening AI should make me wet myself even more than I did the first time I played Condemned!

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Oh come on, I can't be the only one who wants this game?

You can download the first one on the PC for free off a torrent site.  It might be in the bargain bin too.  I assume they are going to post a demo sooner or later (the game comes out on March 11th).  There were signs that it will be on Xbox Live at some point, so I imagine it will hit the PSN the same week, whenever that is.

Might even be today if we are lucky.  That would be pretty bitching along with the Echochrome demo on the Japan store.

I have the first one. However, I won't be buying this one in the near future. I will buy it though just not now.

Now Playing: Crysis 2

Last Finished: BulletStorm

I am really curious to see how the multiplayer is. While I definitely think the single player is far and away more important, it could help a game like this quite a bit and could be a lot of fun in the process.

I'll definitely be getting this soon. The first one scared me more than any game has in a long long time. Can't wait...

Glad to see someone else felt the same way I did about the first one.  My favorite level was the one where you had to follow the words scribbled throughout the house that went on walls, ceilings, countertops, and everywhere else imaginiable.  That level was scary as balls.

Fighting the last boss and the other enemies similar to him was one of the most intense experiences I have had while gaming as well.
