Why curse? A plenty of culturally mozaic statesized entities have existed on the face of the Earth that were monocultural and more stable (or at least meta-stable) than current-day Europe. Really, it was a little over than half of a century of wild migration of Muslims to Europe and look at it now. People should admit that multiculturalism has failed. You seem to have a wrong idea that mono- means eradicate everything else. If anything that "eradicate everything else" attitude could be easily applied to European tradition in regards to treating other cultures, hence the term kulturtragerism. That's why I, a part of dozens of national and religios minorities, had a chance to been born, while, say, American and dozen of other natives did not.

Apoligize , let me correct the persecution is indeed happend, there was one era in many caliphate era when Andalusia was ruled by dictator, called
" Muwahidun " and at that time yes the caliphate who ruled was too hard and non tolerant for other religion, but that was only for  him and it's different with other chalipate.
