Hey I just bought a new SD card for my 3DS  but after cutting+pasting all the files onto my new SD card every single 3DS game is gone (witihn the 3DS main menu) Only virtual console games made it (and well nonsense like the Ambassador certificate etc) all of the things that made it were presents I had to open again.

Is this normal? (there is still 4GB used space on my new 16GB sd card so the games are there just wont show up)

I can redownload the titles but is there a way to get them back without redownloading? (will take 2 days or so....)

And are my savegames gone?

When I upgraded to a 32GB card, all my games transferred. I didn't have to redownload anything. Don't think it's normal.

I transfered using the 3DS system transfer tool from 3DS to XL. I also happened to upgrade my SD card to about 4GB if I remember correctly.

Unfortunately, everything transferred except the most important Save Data. (which was extremely annoying since I had to restart my digital 3 games at the time.)

I hate Nintendo with thier bad digital transfer stuff.....

Huh, my stuff did transfer when I upgraded to a 16GB for my XL.

Mine went perfectly when I went from 8gb to 32gb so something goofed when u were transferring it

Doesn't look good for me... I've been planning to upgrade to a new 3DS LL this year.

My stuff was perfectly fine when I transferred to my XL.

This is certainly an odd case.

So I redownloaded my digital copy of The Legend of Zelda: A Link between worlds and......



my savegame is gone...



TBH the Nintendo account system/online store is completely retarded.

First I got a download key for  The Legend of Zelda: Links awakening from the UK and used it on the German store (living in Germany right now). It registered and was activated within the eShop but does NOT allow me to download the game.... (still shows up in the list of games I can redownload albeit without a picture and gives me the "cant be downloaded at the moment" error)

Then I "lose" my MonsterHunter3 copy (Gift and Hunt together! Promotion) because when I was typing in the A07xxxxxxxxx code for the game it told me that my SD card was full and then I was like "nah dont care right now Ill just get a bigger SD card sometime in the future" just to find out that the "download code" is NOT used UNTIL you start the download which is not possible with a full SD card. So the download code appearently expired...... In every single online service a key is used the moment you type it in and press "proceed" or "accept" or whatever NOT after you started downloading the product.....

Then I never received my download copy for Fire Emblem awakening AT ALL. (So Many Games! Promotion)

Now this...
