Forums - Movies & TV - Beetlejuice Sequel To Be Set In Present Day And Bring Back Michael Keaton According To ScreenwriterNe

Sign me up. Keaton was the highlight of the original Beetlejuice.

Maybe we're looking at a John Travolta/Robert Downey, Jr. style "second act" for Keaton. Birdman, I think, went a long way toward reintroducing Keaton to moviegoers.

Around the Network

Keaton and Burton make a good team (Beetlejuice, Batman, Batman Returns). I'm all for him reprising his role and I wouldn't necessarily liken the situation to Harrison Ford coming back Indiana Jones since those are two very different roles.

Signature goes here!

beetlejuice was a movie perfect for it's time. I just can't see this working in modern day.

Beetlejuice was amazing back when I was a kid, especially the TV series and the idea of it being an actual sequel than a reboot with new cast members has me quite excited, I've been getting tired lately of some reboots with exception to Dredd which I liked, new Robocop I'm indifferent to.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

I've had a man crush on Keaton since Batman. Beetlejuice is awesome too. The only man that can play either role too. I'm hopeful for it.
