Just to note, I didn't count any reissues or budget rereleases.

Yeah, thanks for making this thread obsolete :P

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Haha. It does mean that Kotaku weren't far off the mark. Those are the numbers as they stand, and it wouldn't be fair to blame them if the final numbers come out significantly different. Which they could as more stuff gets announced or delayed. And on that note, I expect (and sure as hell hope) that Nintendo has some Wii U stuff for this time period in the next Nintendo Direct.

My tally using Famitsu's release schedule:

PS Vita: 37
PS4: 26
PS3: 23
3DS: 21
Xbox One: 12
PSP: 5
Xbox 360: 5
Wii U: 2 (LOL)

Thanks a lot! This getting the things a bit clearer. Already interesting that the number of PS3/PS4/3DS is higher, while on PSV is a little bit lower. So Kotaku still used another source. Also shows how unreliable it is to look at before on announced games, different sources yield different results. I expect it to change even more to the actual release, some titles will get delayed, others will get a firm release date in the time-frame. The delayed games are especially hilarious, as the same game can count as proof how awesome the lineup of XY is for Q1, and then again for Q2 and then ...

Exactly. That's more or less the point here. I want to see how looking at the schedule is matching up with what is happening then in reality. Maybe it is pretty similar, maybe it changes a lot. We will see.

It's a good strategy. Agent, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, and Last Guardian made every year the Year of the PS3.

LOL, really. Sadly WiiU has it's own Last Guardian now with SMTxFE. Nintendo-fans regularly name this game coming up and making the year great and I always cringe. Because it really would the year great, I would love to get this game. But it seems nothing more than an illusion at this point.

Well, first real update.

WiiU has released last week the two titles it will get this quarter. It is done, if we believe Kotaku and Famitsu.

PSV and 3DS are currently leading, as you would expect for japan. We will see how things are developing.

Updated OP. Is there no post on VGC about Media Create and Famitsu for week 5?
