With the wii u selling like a 15 million ltd console it is obvious that zelda u will never achieve the sales it deserves (assuming that the game rates as high as previous installments). So realistically what sales can we expect from such a limited install base, there is no doubt that the game hasn't got a hope in hell of competing with the 7-8 million units of TP and OOT and even the 4.5m of WW looks out of range. The attaches rates of previous zelda game's suggest sales of around 2m on a 15m selling console but this doesn't take into consideration that it will be the only original LOZ game on wiiu (as opposed to 2 games each on wii, gc & n64) released in the half way point of wii u's existance and also factor in the trend that a lower install base usually means a higher attache rate. So far majora's mask is the least popular mainline home console zelda at 3.36m but that could soon change with the imminent arrival of zelda wii u, but despite the odds being overwhelmingly stacked against zelda u i think it can surpass majoras mask but only just and it would require a high metacritic and lots of promotion, i think 3.5m is possible. lolno.. It will surely outsell Majora's Mask, Skyward Sword and even Wind Waker! For the record, that 4.5 million figure for the WW is not accurate.

They need to get rid of Eiji. He is ruining Zelda with his little crazy ides and art styles.

If this Zelda had the art style of the 2012 tech demo (see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_fyOkrteqM) then I think it could've been a smash hit.

Yup I think it will. IMO this might be the first Zelda since Zelda 2 to actually suck.

Will outsell Skyward Sword and also will be one of the biggest releases in 2015, both in general way and Nintendo, I predict a simultaneously release during Nov 21 with a install base of 12-13 million, so it may sell at least 1 million at it debut, and with some legs, it will become a top seller of 2015.

Well vgchartz had WW at 4.55m and that information posted on neogaf the other day had it at 4.43m and that was apparently nintendo's own data.

Yup. It might be least selling zelda. But I am tempted to get Wii U for it.
