The minimum requirements needed to play the witcher 3 are:

1. Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz

2. GeForce GTX 660 or Radeon HD 7870 

3. 6GB of Ram

The recomended requirements needed to play the witcher 3 are:

1.  Intel Core i7 3770 3.4GHz or eight-core AMD FX-8350 4GHz

2.  Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 or AMD Radeon R9 290

3. 8GB of RAM

Man those are some out of this world specs, how many of you will be able to even play this. I surely can't .

Its actually not that bad considering how fap worthy the game looks! My 970 ($325) should be able to handle it with ease with those requirements! The minimum requirements are a bit lower than I expected

Saw it a while ago. Compared to unity its not bad. But I think I will stick with the PS4 version.

Not really. A 7870 was a mid ranged video card when it launched (now an entry level essentially) and a game like the Witcher 3 has beautiful PC graphics that justify the requirements which really aren't that high for a game that looks this good

It isn't bad at all and my PC meets all the recommended specs. I just wonder how big the difference between the console and PC versions shall be.

My PC from early 2012 should run it fine, I don't need to max out everything.

My 3770K is recommended and could be overclocked if needed and my GTX 680 is almost as fast as a GTX 770.

But I may still upgrade my GPU later this year.

Not really that bad, the only thing I'll need to replace this year is my gpu and go for a 970 or 980 which won't be that hard to do within the space of a month, hopefully it will look amazing on PC though, I'm confident CD Projekt will make it the best version possible considering they're PC devs first.

Also VG already had a specs article up over an hour ago btw so I really don't see why a PS guy needs to make yet another PC thread.
