It was better 5-6 years ago. Then it died out a bit. New users have come that brought new life to the place over the past 2 years. That said, yeah, it is the best still. Definitely fun to see people trolling and seeing how they get taken down. If you have a good sense of humor, this is a good group to be around.

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of this forum. I kind of got sucked into it after coming to vgchartz for sales data, but about 30-40% of the people here just post some of the most ridiculous statements. The amount of venom directed at certain consoles or companies and the number of silly, totally unrealistic rumours/hype/suggestions far exceeds that on the other two sites I frequent, which are Eurogamer and Destructoid.

Don't know how much longer I'll last here.

Yeah, it's pretty good. Simple and allows me to talk about my current main hobby.

Back in the day when I was reading more comics (they are crap now) I was on ComicBookResources. A very good website and fun. But it turned weird, too many 'I love this character!' thread and too many people enjoying themselves a little too much over bad writing so I left.

Came when I turned to gaming again. Been here longer it seems not. Odd.

Hmm, pie.

VGC is far and away my favorite gaming forum. There are a few things that annoy me like the japanese animation sigs and avatars and certain other things that don't make it very work / public use friendly, but the community is excellent and provides many great discussion threads. This is also one of few places I have ever frequented where there are actually some legit sales threads as well.

I agree! VG Chartz has become my go-to site for upcoming games, sales, and even general discussions. I do not participate much but enjoy reading many of our members' opinion.

I think the key to any forum is the community. I joined for sales data, but honestly if the community was lacking I'd left years ago. I have left nearly every forum been on due to communities becoming toxic. I come here because members for the most part are enjoyable to be around, and it is only place for me to discuss the Vita.

I think it's a really good forum for discussing video game topics and I like how the mods are on here. My only complaint is that it's a little slow here sometimes. People like to go for the throat or get way too personal when it comes to video games so it needs to be moderated more. For other topics, I prefer different forums that are less moderated so I can grief idiots (none here) and discuss whatever we feel like without having to worry about other people's sensibilities too much.
