Forums - Gaming Discussion - What TV do you use for gaming?

I have a 50" Panasonic 1080p plasma. I think I bought it in October 2008. It's really nice, though I"m sure I'm accustomed to any loss of performance.

For retro gaming I have a 32" Sony Trinitron behemoth. If I ever see a Terminator walking up the drive, I'm dropping that monster tv off the balcony.

I use a 2006 15' 720i Magnavox TV

It doesn't have a name on it, just says magnavox so that's all I can tell you

Panasonic TC-P50X60, 50" 720p plasma, and its got better picture quality than most LCD / LED 1080p sets. Plasmas FTW!

I wish I had picked up one of the 1080p S-class plasmas in 2013 before Panasonic retired them. Now only Samsung and LG still make plasmas but they aren't as good as Panasonic's were (or the legendary Pioneer Kuro series), and they are both set to retire them soon as well.

I'll go you one better,  my VT series :) Plasmas are great for gaming, it really is a shame there are going/gone.  Can't wait for large, affordable OLED.

The final VTs (and the model above) were actually rated better than the Kuros in many respects.
