So far the X1 has a better lineup of exclusive. Plus it still has the best controller. Like achievement better then trophies.

I agree with the line-up and achievements :D

Cause for the time being is the only next gen console with enough exclusive next gen games. PS4 isnt worth for the time being for that opposite reason. WiiU isnt considered for me and many others next gen, for obvious reasons..

When it comes to a console you care about its games firstly and them everything else. So software wise Xbox One has the perfect balance and amazing speed of software improvement the whole past year so far. Plus the games lineup which was amazing so far. And then its the xbl ( WiiU..? ) and the controller. To me I personally I dont know why would anyone buy a PS4 before half the year of 2015 and not stick with old gen till then. Thats what makes no sense to me, which i bet you cant be as convincing excusing your purchase as I am ;)

Well, actually.. I bought a PS4 in March, but I gave it to my little brother in August, because I didn't have anything to play. :p

I don't like the Dualshock 4, it feels uncomfortable in my hands. So the Xbox one will be my multiplat console, while the Ps4 will be turned on when the rare good exclusive comes up.

That is a very good reason. I had a friend once, that did the exact same thing.

I don't own one but the feature I like most is the external hard drive support. I've filled up the PS4 hard drive already and transferring data to a bigger internal is a massive pain.

Yeah, I know what you mean... f* 500GB -__-

If someone prefers the FPS genre over RPG's then I can understand why they would want a Xbox one. It's the same thing with the wii u and it's games. There's plenty of differences between each console. Mainly it's their game libraries.

Yeah, I guess you're right. But doesn't a lot of that have to do with the controller?

Welfare said:

I already had a huge history with Xbox, wasn't going to switch it up this gen, no matter what.

I respect that ;D

Honestly I don't know about the controller. I've personally never been a fan of it. It's heavy and it uses batteries which cost money.

Well Dead Rising 3, Ryse Sone of Rome, Titanfall, Forza 5/Horizon 2, Master Chief Collection, Sunset Overdrive, Killer Instinct are current game that are only on Xbox One, along with future games like Halo 5, Fable Legends, Gears of War 4, Crackdown 3, Quantum Break as future titles only on Xbox One. If u are a fan of or interested in those games then Xbox One would be a good console to own.

Over the holidays Xbox One was cheaper than PS4 so if ur into the 3rd party titles that are on both devices but don't really have a preference when it comes to the exclusives than Xbox One was a good choice.

There are many reasons why somebody would choose any of the 3 as there console of choice, it just comes down to preference.

Dead Rising 3 and Ryse are on PC, Titanfall is on PC and 360 and Horizon 2 is on 360.

But none of those games are on Wii U or PS4 which is what the OP asked. PC & 360 are non-factors in this case.

Ah I see, I just read you say only on Xbox One.

Horizon 2 on the 360 is nowhere near as good as the X1 version plus it doesn't get any DLC.

Why's that?  Besides the obvious like preformance.

They are Halo/Gears fan for most of them, if you are not, i dont see many reasons to buy one ( me, i bought one because i wanted a next gen console but PS4 wasnt available)

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

Just stop it, I repeat, people are not stupid. "Why would anyone want to buy an Xbox One over a PS4 or a Wii U? Personally I don't get it" Is not "I have no reason to buy one".

You're acting like there is no reason to buy a XB1 and people are crazy for doing so.

I am very misunderstod I feel. What I meant was, Personally I don't get why NOW.

I've been in your shoes, don't argue. Just play the Xbox One when you feel its appropriate. It has great games. Truly, one doesn't know until they play them.

...Killer Instinct is also a reason. That sealed the deal for me when my cousin gave me his one that he wasnt using.

I have no idea what this used to be, but it must have been a pretty controversial topic to have gathered three pages of replies in less than an hour.

Because the people that ported it wheren't the same people that made the X1 version.  Plus they probably knew it wouldn't sell as much on the 360 so why bother.  I'm not 100% certain but I'm thinking the 360 version of The Crew doesn't get any DLC either.
