I think Treyarchs next game will sell more than AW and will outsell AW pretty fast.

i'm thinking 4.5-5 million first week for black ops 3, similar to mw2 numbers. mw2 came out when ps3 had 27 million consoles sold and xbox 360 had 33 million consoles sold, and both versions sold well over 10 million, the xbox 360 version sold 13.30 million. the ps4 will have a higher install base than the xbox 360 by the time black ops 3 comes out and the ps4 sells software better than any system ever, so i think we should see great numbers.

Also the fact that PS4 sales track alot faster than PS3 sales in any given time of the year. That boost will also give software like CoD a slight weekly boost over last generation which had moderate gains yoy. But also, like someone earlier said, Treyarch needs to fix their issues with their games and more people will be coming back. Net code, lag comp and animations are crap in Treyarch games compared to MW series for some reason but the 3 year dev cycle is in effect so hopefully all studios have enough time to fix their issues.

i agree, i thought black ops 2's hit detection was pretty good, but it lagged a lot, so that took away from it. by the way, in my previous comment that you were responding to, i meant 4.5-5 million on the ps4 alone, xbox one should get 3.5 million if not more.

Oh yeah for sure, BO3 will easily sell 5 million on PS4 alone, and whatever PS4 gets I expect XOne to get about 80% of that.

if ps4 gets the call of duty marketing deal with activision (it's been rumored, and kind of makes sense) then i can see the ps4 sales being much higher

Advanced Warfare saved that turd called Ghosts
Black ops 3 will do fine

I can't wait to see the next treyarch COD, i just hope they simplify the zombies mode again. Look forward to getting Advanced Warfare to play exo-zombies when that comes out too

Xbox One, PS4 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

If Treyarch can make a killer Zombie mode that's completely new from their previous then yes for me.

Honestly that's the only reason why I've enjoyed getting CoD games and mainly loved Treyarch for it. I couldn't really care less about the actual campaign or online as they all seem to be very generic and the same as alot of other FPS. They're fun but nothing exciting about.

i enjoy the campaigns and online, but it's no question that i would rather have zombies than both of them if i had to make a choice.

Same here.  I wished last gen Treyarch could've just released a disc that had just the zombie mode but with every single zombie map they created.

I'm hoping the new zombie mode will have new features rather than just building up windows.  Possibly add boss fights every 10 rounds (was thinking the zombie mode for cod waw should've had some kind of Hitler zombie boss)

well i wish they would go back to the classic world at war staight up survival rather than put new things in. like i hate the buildables in black ops 2 zombies, that shit made it too easy in my opinion

Yea I didn't find the buildables to be very fun, seemed more like a hassle.  Waw had the best maps.

Most of Black Ops II zombie maps focused on the easter egg and buildables too much I thought. I only cared about killing zombies, I hope they go back towards that. They had some good ideas otherwise. Loved playing turned mode

David Vonderhaar (Treyarch's lead developer) stated on twitter the other day that for his new year's resolution he wants to make something different, but still great. so what i take from that is, world war 1 and 2 have been done, future has been done (fuck the future, i agree with you fully on that), vietnam/cold war has been done, and modern has been done. so that leaves the korean war, barely been done, has never been done in call of duty. i did some research on the korean war's weapons, and after seeing the weapons i'm totally on board with a korean war call of duty. like i have goosebumps just thinking about that. i hope they make it as gory and as brutal as they can. it sounds weird but i love gory and bloody games, that's one of the reasons world at war is my favorite call of duty.

EDIT: The thought of next gen zombies is boner worthy. Zombie Verruckt is my favorite map because of how difficult it is, so i want treyarch to make it simple and hard. No easy train spots where people run around in circles for five hours.

IMO Blops2 has the best multiplayer out of the COD series. It's the only COD where i actually reach master prestige. And to this day i still play Blops2. like some have said here Blops3 will be huge. Hopefully they keep the same mechanics that made Blops2 so fun.

I would love for that to happen but I don't think it will. COD has long been a Microsoft tie-in and Destiny being an Activision/Sony tie-in evens things out. Has there ever been a tie-in that has jumped ship to another console? Was Assassin's Creed originally promoted for PS3??

Black Flag was PS3/PS4 marketing i believe
