If the Zelda U hype levels are like Twilight Princess, then I'll go with that. Because TP was the most overhyped game in the series.

That's actually true though.

I liked TP AND WW.

OoT is good, but obviously inferior to TP.

Agreed. Have not played TP but Ocarina of time seems overrated to me. Wind waker did it for me, especially the HD version. Tried Ocarina of time after it and damn, struggled to no end in order to reach the end. Poor graphics, rigid gameplay, liveless world, not that entertaining story... Only thing I find cool was to play kid and adult version of the same character.

But I can see why in its time it was a game changer. First true great scale open world I guess, but that's it. Game as little to no value for me today.

I actually like OoT more than TP, and I played both for the first time this past year.

TP just starts off so slowly. Seriously, you have to complete multiple dungeons for the game to pick up any kind of steam, and even at that point, the game is so limited in what you can do, it's not very enjoyable. Plus the whole tone, while unique-ish, was trying way too hard to be dark and just didn't work all that much. I also think it was trying way too hard to be "Ocarina of Time: The New Edition (with a wolf)" instead of its own original thing.

But I think Wind Waker is vastly superior to both games, so hey, what do I know?

Sadly I think it's going to be Star Wars: Battlefront. All we have seen is a very brief teaser so far and nothing, the game is supposed to come out at the end of this year and we barely know anything about it, other than DICE is developing it. Delays might not be possible since EA might pressure DICE to have it ready by the time the new Star Wars movie comes out. As much as I really want this game to turn out well, there are already a few red flags up and I have a gut feeling that we're all going to be disappointed in the end.

Probably not RCT: World, but that game will probably not be mind-blowing anyway.

That's actually true to some extent.. The same could be said for the original Zelda game.

I was pretty excited about this game when they revealed it but now I'm a little worried it might not be what I thought it was. I hope I'm wrong.

My vote is on No Man's Sky, just because it gets so much praise while we know very little about it.

Shocked at the people saying The Order though. Never thought overhyped games would see articles telling you not to preorder it and almost a years worth of negative articles for the most part.

I think The Order is one of those games that is currently being singled out by the media and put in a very bad light. It is very far from overhyped, which would need to involve not just forums goers but the mass media as well, ala TitanFall and Destiny. The Order does not have the media on it's side. The media almost seems dead set against it.

There's enough info about No Man's Sky to get an idea of what to expect.

I find it very difficult to picture what the game is about actually. Apart from "visiting" and "wandering". As far I know and correct me if I wrong, no combat has been shown so far and it is said to be core of the gameplay...

Sounds like my kinda game. Too many combat games as it is. Need more adventure games.

You don't clarify how you mean it!
Hype and finally deserving the hype or hype and eventually not deserving the hype?
