So, last night I had a wild dream. A way SE could make some cash... Maybe make some fun games?

Ok, So in my dream  I was in a store looking at video games. The had FF 3,4 and 10 (I know, odd combo) Redone in today's best graphics on PS4. BUT, they had figures like Skylanders that went with the game to add characters to them. I remember a Cloud figure and saying "They just made a ton of cash on this". Some figures came with add-on stuff, like Phoenix downs and such.

Had to get that out here. It as a crazy real feeling dream. Would anyone buy these games if they went this route?

Jesus, it sounds like one way ticket to cash grabbing-ville. Please dont give SE this idea since it will be worse than FF All the Bravest cause they will make it so that you will need to buy figures for everything on top of whatever u will probably pay for the initial game which probably wont even be that good cause its main aim will be to make money. And knowing SE, they will exploit it like cray cray if they can make easy money from it

No, the games were the full, real game. The figures would just let you play with the characters you want.

A FF7 remake bundled with figurines would safe them from bankruptcy for the next 10 years. They have so many iconic characters, they should cash into them. They could also make another proper Dissidia to sell them.

I think people are harshly overestimating how popular FF characters are. FF figurines would bomb.

They would probably just do this for a few years to ensure they stay afloat. Quick $$.

I can picture it now:

"Buy Cloud to make his Limit Break 10% stronger"
"Buy Yuffie to increase her crit chance"
"Buy Aeris to choose between sword death, cancer and choking on a breadroll"

I don't want it to be like that. I just want them to be extra characters you don't have to buy. But if you do, they are awesome.
