It's just as slugglish as VGC.  I think much of the problem has to do with the ads...which is ironic, right?  I mean... certainly this site would be more popular if it ran efficiently.  How many clicks or potential clicks are being lost on a regular basis?  The topics on the front page seem to be stagnant as well, suggesting that many people are having this same problem.  I guess it's possible it's just me and my wonky internet connection, but I don't seem to have this problem on other sites.

Its sluggish but not so sluggish that ill close the browser or search something else.
but yeah both are pretty inconsistent.
I dont think its the ads tbh.
ive looked at the php behind the pages and it looks pretty inefficient.

Edit: not to say the coding is bad. Just there were some parts where I was thinking to myself that some pages were being acessed on the front page that didnt need to be accessed.

You can tell that there are some coding flaws just by looking at your threads. Where it doesnt properly track the new posts.

Also the javascript for the buddy menu is finnicky.

Yes...that's why  kind of my point.  I thought that maybe ioi was just neglecting this site as a means to drive traffic towards that site.  I hadn't been there in over a year probably.  I was just surprised to see that it had the same problems.  And regarding stagnant topics, Spurge, I meant here on VGC.

I never truly understood what gamewise was uniquely about or the purpose it served when ioi was always explaining it, but I was hoping it would be clear once it was released.

Unfortunately, I still don't understand it. Why would I want to visit that website?

I personally think GameCube is a pretty great site. It just needs some work and input.

I believe it makes ioi like 3 or 4x the ad revenue than VGC.
