And there´s 3 more weeks to go before the end of the year, it can easily be 350k next week, 200k the next and 150 the last one, that is +700k

2.92m + 700k = 3.62m

I think it's going to decrease from 220K to 100 somethingK to Sub 100k.

That makes no sense, go back at look at the sales data this site provides. Sales go up each week in Dec leading up to Christmas, this has always been the case.

To be fair , the wii and 3ds did peak in their 2nd year. So, I call it probable.

I agree, I don't think a pricedrop will have much of an effect and all of the heavy hitting games have already been released.

Yeah, just looking at vgc's now well updated estimates the ps3 and 360 peaked later in their consoles lifecycles. The third, or 4th year. Considering Nintendo sales patterns should follow Nintendo sales patterns and not the other companies sales patterns the peak seems to fit. And, yes, Nintendo has released it's biggest hits to mediocre to bad sales thus far.

I thought so too, but if they announce a big price cut next year, then 2015 will be the peak year.

That's very nice from you, people should learn from your attitude. We should spread love, not hate.

What about the love for Nintendo doom threads?

Well loving to hate on something is love too. So I think it's perfectly fine!

And still it is the best 8th gen console out there, so why does the sales matter?

It would have to be a really big price cut, $50 won't do especially if PS4/XB1 see price cuts as well. It would have to be a $100 price cut to have a huge affect and I just can't see Nintendo doing that.

I agree. This may have been wiiu peak year, unless they have a secret something in the pocket, like a big pricecut like GCN.

Last year done 340k + 230 k + 120k on the last 3 weeks. I think is going to be a little bit higher.

well you're going to be much closer than Mr.Playstation, but I still think you overestimating it a little.

This week was 221k for WiiU. In the same week last year it did 265k, so it's actually down.
Reason being the massive drop in Japan. 74k in 2013, only ~28k in 2014.

The following week was 342k WW in 2013 with Japan at 115k. We already know the Japanese sales for the same week in 2014. It's ~37k.

Therefore it's surely going to be under 300k, in fact closer to 250k.

Difficult to say, I think I predicted that it would stay flat to slightly up because of game releases and possible pricecut but it could go either way at this point I think.
