Forums - Sales Discussion - The Wii U has peaked.

Here is why:

1. Even with exclusives such as Mario Kart 8 and Super smash Bros it will just barely overtake the amount of consoles sold in 2013.

2. The only upcoming main exclusives are Star Fox U and Zelda U. Star Fox U while a fan favourite doesn't sell that many units and therefore won't sell consoles and finally Zelda U is already getting mixed reactions from fans and the Cartoon styled Zelda's don't sell as well usually.

I am sorry, but this is how good it gets.

You are probably right, but no need for the last line.

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Guys. These threads are getting repetitive. We get it. Wii U is not a success. But same type of post makes the forum boring.

More than likely, unless Nintendo can pump out games next year... which is doubtful.

Stop please, everybody knows that you are very glad to see it falling despite the great games. Anyways is not its peak year, you´ll see. And this bulling is just boring.

No, I do not like to see it fail, but based on the facts at hand this is its peak year.

But but but price cut!

All this negativity. I can totally see the Wii U having a solid 5% boost YoY.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

No, Wii U vitality sensor will give the console its second spring!

So old, yeah it's not selling well, it has peaked, whatever. Does that make it a failure, heckey no.
