So much for blaming Chinese government for region locking, when it was obvious the blame was strictly on Microsoft for forcing onto Chinese what they attempted and failed in the West.
Now they either need to engage one of their trademarked 180s, or face a complete failure in China.

Good news for Chinese gamers who now have a better, cheaper console without manufacturer's restrictions placed on their enjoyment. PS4 and Vita will certainly be a success in China.

Also, PS4 cannot already be region free because it is not available there at all.

What do you mean think? The PS4 is reported to be region free and the XB1 is reported to be region locked. That's all I know ... unless the XB1 reports are incorrect? You don't have to be patronising you know.
