Still sad WiiU won't get 2nd this gen it really deserves it. Oh well it'll always be my secondary console and at least Nintendo can make bank on software. They have a great strategy for being profitable on software. Of course it's good in the first place but unlike Sony they don't bring out sequels in the same series for the rest of the gen so the titles keep selling for the whole gen and it allows them to keep the price up. So basically you keep making a lot for years. The only comparable strategy on Playstation is GT and even then they have a late gen sequel usually. It also saves on development costs by not having to make 3 games in a gen so at least Nintendo can keep raking in cash from 3DS and software for both.

Next year $299 PS4 / Xbox One, bloodborne, halo 5, uncharted 4, zelda will push this number even higher.

And 3DS reached 48m!!!! Whooooo!

Well WiiU is the limiting factor so the only chances in the "near" future will be when it reaches 9m and 10m.
