WiiU is indeed unappreciated but it deserves it. GCN was actually a rather good console that was sadly ignored.

And yes WiiU has time on the 1st party side but the 3rd party will never be their, something that made the GCN worth your time.

Ehm, really? Aside from Resident Evil 4, Viewtiful Joe (both which will later appear on PS2), Sonic Adventure 2, Baten Kaitos, that Star Wars game and Tales of Symphonia there wasn' really much for me. 

The lack of third party support is part of the reason... but to not get too deep into the reasons for my statement lets just say that if you make a system that only appeals to the Nintendo core then you can't be surprised if it's only bought by the Nintendo core.

See this, this doesnt matter. It had the games and thats what mattered. In fact a lot of 3rd party games would be multiplats on GCN... you cant say that about WiiU. A library shared with another console is better than no library at all.

It's a wonderful console just people are too stupid to realize it has great games their audience thinks it's just a tablet for a Wii or has moved on to new venues
